Good day Sportz Fans!

This past weekend was great. We had big crowds, big laughs, and big fun.

On Thursday, the Battle Royale was epic and hillarious. Though it was a tight win, Eric Price, Melissa Kingston and Dave Theune came out on top, and were the only team to get paid! (this is two weeks in a row for Theune, who is apparently on a hot streak!) On Thursday, we also had Sparkle In Motion, the ComedySportz Dancers perform at halftime, and they were beautifully choreographed. And, the ComedySportz Kidz camp graduates also played a game.

Thursday nights are turning into action-packed, exciting nights here at 'Sportz.

Friday night, we had a loud, enthusiastic crowd that included these lovely audience volunteers:


Saturday night at the 7:30 show we had 5 bachelorette parties, Count 'em 5!! And so we decided to get all the bachelorettes involved by playing a game of cassanova, rotating style, and it was a hoot.. The Ladies got hit on and had their picture taken with the players..

Also in attendance for this show was John Adler from FM 102.1's Kramp and Alder morning show. We managed to drag him up on stage to play a game with the players, and he had a great time. He also brought a bunch of fun give-aways for the CSz fans, so keep that in mind for when 102.1 comes back to see another show August 10th! Also, keep listening to FM 102.1 for drink specials and to win tickets to come see CSz!

Important News!!

Alright Sportz Fans, CSz has a fun weekend ahead of us!

Keep an ear open, we have radio ads playing on 102.1!

The biggest news is that on Saturday the 28th at our 7:30 show, Adler from the 102.1 Morning show will be in attendance here at ComedySportz, playing games with the players and drinking at our bar. It should be a great time, and we're really looking forward to it!!

...And Speaking of the bar, this Saturday's Drink Specials are $3 Jaeger Bombs and all Miller Products are only $2. Holy cow. That's cheap!

Also, don't forget that Thursday nights are the Battle Royale! I'f you're not sure what the Battle is-- you're in for a treat! Instead of a normal, 6 person match, there will now be 12, count'em 12 performers on stage, divided into teams of three, and they compete for audience laughs.. One by one they are eliminated!!!

The catch is---- Only the the winning team gets paid!

Come write someone's paycheck with your laughter. The Show Begins at 8pm.

Also, if you mention the Blog, tickets for the Battle are only $5!!

And a special event, The Gentleman's hour is performing this Friday night at 10pm. It'll be a compilation of their favorite videos and live sketches. The tickets are $5 cash only. come on down!
