Kidz Camp Summer 2008 is filling up fast!!

Hey Moms and Dads, Have you ever looked at your child and thought... "There is something funny about my kid..." ?
If the answer is yes, then chances are, they would love our ComedySportz Summer Kidz Improv Camp.

Our Camp is a great way to get your kids out of the house doing something they love, but will also have a huge impact on them! They will learn skills and build Teamwork, Confidence, creativity, listening and conquering stage fright. They learn a lot of the same games you watch our pros play every weekend, and you would be surprised at how side-splittingly funny your kids can be!

The Dates for this year's camp are:
6/16-6/20 - 12pm-5pm
7/7-7/11 -12pm-5pm
7/14-7/18 - 12pm-5pm
8/4-8-8 - 12pm-5pm
8/11-8/15 - 12pm-5pm

The cost is $150.00 per week and we provide a healthy snack for each kid.

On the Friday of your kid's camp week, we invite you down at 3pm to see a show performed by the campers showing off everything they've learned.

This past weekend, we had Bob Orvis, an original Member of CSz and the guy who runs all of our outside CSz shows play in-house for the first time in 4 years or more.

...He swore.
And Was brown-bagged.

It shows-to-go-ya, that even if you've been doing this for 25 years, you still let a sass word slip now and again.

Luckily he was punished thoroughly, and will never, ever, ever swear again.

This is a picture from this past weekend's 3pm Matinee.. We had over 140 people in attendance, including no less than 7 birthday parties and Girl Scout troops. Needless to say, it was a BLAST!

The girl in the picture Is Riley, who was celebrating her 8th birthday with us, and we got her to come up and help us play a game.. What we didn't know was------

Riley is dangerous!!!!!!

Haha! Just kidding, she was a hoot to play with up there, even though she did occasionally throw the players around a bit like a 300 lb ultimate fighter.. Small and feisty, that's for sure!

So in honor of Riley and all the kids who had a great time last weekend, we would like to offer you guys a fun contest!

Holy crap. Last weekend was ridiculous. We had a bunch of really huge shows, and a bunch of really great audiences. (most memorable of which being the 3pm show on Saturday, when we had 12 birthday parties and 140+ kids.... Woah, the sound of that many kids yelling is probably comparable to that of a high-pitched jet engine.)

The picture above is of one of my favorite moments ever...It's a game of "moving bodies" with an audience volunteer. She kept forgetting to move their legs, and successfully pushed everyone over, onto the floor. It was hilarious.

Soooo... This coming weekend... On thursday, it's night #2 of "Pay What You Can Night". Last week we had someone come in with a handful of nickles, dimes and pennies, and they saw the show. So believe it-- Pay whatever you can afford! The show begins at 7:30pm on Thursday.

Keep an eye out-- possibly later this weekend, there might be a sweet deal for tickets..

Hey everyone!

First of all, can we discuss how lovely our Ballet Parker, Dave is? Coy and dainty, Dave is a joy to watch as he pirouettes your car to its spot. If you want to see more gorgeous ballet parkers like this, come see a show-- they dance for you, rain, snow sleet or shine!

And onward---

This Thursday is the start of our "Pay what you can night". 7:30 PM - Be there for the event of the season! We will literally take whatever amount of money you give us. No kidding. Try us.

You got ten nickels?
How about 2,000 pennies?

A Benjamin?

All of these would be accepted.

So bring a posse. We'd love to have you! Plus, we also have amazing things EVERY Show, like $1 beers, and the best french fries this side of France!

Oooh, and I almost forgot! Our Improv Workshops begin in a week! 101, the beginner's class starts Tuesday, April 8th at 6pm, and if you'd like to learn to do what we do, call Mary in our offices.
